a kick out of boots

Man, oh man were there boots at the Barn Sale!
Boots for sale, and boots for shopping.

Amy Boland gets a kick out of boots.
So does one of the girls at Rusted Gingham.

Suzanne has a gps locater app for all vintage boots.

Amy has this 'boot' button on her camera -
it finds them- it focuses and clicks!

Q: Could there be anything sweeter than a girl and her boots?

A: Yes. A girl and her boots shopping the Barn Sale!

Get a load of this

Shoppers came out in droves to the Barn Sale. We loaded up the barn with vintage goods, and you loaded them right back up in your vehicles to take home!

Some of you went right for what you were looking for. Others took a leisurely stroll around the barn before getting serious. Some of us had great intentions on going in every booth, but somehow never made it! (And a sad few of you didn't get to come at all.)

Here's Amy to the rescue - capturing on camera what many of us never saw. Enjoy the surprises!

Thanks again for coming by the droves and going home with loads!

(you can also see more pictures on our facebook page. We'll take you right there if you click HERE).

rodeo meets barn sale

We were thrilled to have all the rodeo folks next door stop by and come take a look at the barn sale. These girls were pretty impressive, on and off their horses!

Word got out to tie up the horses and come on over to shop!
So they did!

pretty girls always up for a pose

but then back to some serious shopping!

Thanks to all the rodeo families for stopping buy the barn sale.
We loved having you!

shoppers of all kinds

Our 2011 Barn Sale shoppers came in all shapes and sizes!
No judgments here, just observations!

Here are some of our favorite pictures
of you shopping all over the barn.

Wonder what they were all smiling about?
This looks like a family reunion! So sweet.
Decisions, decisions.
This little guy made the rounds and then some!

"Yes, I made this . . . will you buy it?"

This one is my favorite! Just look at her in her little boots and jeans, blond ringlets all over pulled up with a bow. Standing in front of the pink flamingoes and pink fancy lacy blouses . . . dreaming of how they would look on her and planning the special place they will hang all flowing pretty in her closet.

Little girls never grow up.
We all still do this!

she's a pro!
