Our barn sale is listed in the Spring 2012 issue of
FLEA MARKET style!
We’ve got butterflies…
Urges to do that high-pitched girly ScrEam!
Smiles that won’t stop!
We’re over the top thrilled! And it’s because of YOU sweet friends, fans, vendors and shoppers. This national magazine asked its readers to pick their favorite barn sales and here’s what they said.
There were 56 total barn-type sales picked and they were listed by state. Nine of the picks were in Texas, and Look. There we are,
No. 43. Right down from our Rodeo Queen friends at Petticoats on the Prairie!
We were so tickled to see several of our friends quoted in the magazine. Theresa Cano of Gardenantqs commented on the City Wide Garage Sale in Austin, and then Kristi Day gave some feedback on the Homestead Antique Fair in Hico.
Suzanne found our copies of Flea Market Style at WalMart, so you should be able to find one for yourself. Right now we’re tryin’ to figure out how to frame one. If you’ve got any ideas, we’re all ears!
Of course, the very LARGE and AMAZING shows like Canton First Monday Trade Days, Marburger Farm Antique Show, and The Original Round Top Antiques Fair made their Large Flea Market list on page 132.
Round Top/Warrenton Antiques week is just around the corner! Go see Suzanne’s advice on how to prepare for shopping in Warrenton, and then grab a Flea Market Style magazine and see what they have to say. Great tips on shopping, finding bargains, and even some ideas on things to make with the junk we find!
Thanks to all our friends and shoppers who helped put Rusted Gingham in print! Thanks, Flea Market Style for a great issue. We’re lovin’ it!
