It’s April and that means time for vendor applications to be posted!  

We’ve changed the application just slightly from the past- so be sure to give it a good once over.  

As always, we are looking for those unique vendors that aren’t duplicated; the good vintage, the stylish recycled, the handmade, antiques worn with time, creative upcycles, you get the idea.  

The Barn Sale has earned a reputation for being a great place to shop- full of amazing vendors that are selected by a great group of gals.  So get your pens ready to fill out that application and woo us with your wares!

April--whew! It's that time again, folks--time for vendor apps! We're getting ready for the 12th annual Barn Sale! Can you believe it?!?

2018 Applications are HERE!

It's that time again! April means applications in the Barn Sale world.

Our 11th annual Barn Sale! Can you believe it? We've come a long way since that first one in my barn.

Applications are updated and ready for your submission!

We always love seeing your unique items and creativity. Have friends you think would be a fit as a vendor? Feel free to share!

This amazing event has become what it is because of each of you- we've certainly grown over the past 10 years- Thanks to our vendors, shoppers, social media friends, past vendors that no longer do shows and the Amazing Tribe that puts this thing together!

We can't wait to see what year 11 brings in the way of vendor selection!  Get yours in SOON!

10th Annual Applications!

When this Barn Sale started I don't remember that I dreamed of it getting to the point that it is.  WoW, Here we are at the 10th Annual!!!

In the beginning my Cattleman had to move hay out of the barn for us to use the Barn for a purpose 'not intended' when it was being built! Although, I did have him leave some for aesthetics!  My goodness- this man of mine has put up with a lot of ideas from me!

 Here are a few throwback pictures to year 1.
Children, do not try this at home...... We were moving small loads in the back of a small trailer attached to a mule.  No- none of our husbands were around for this- just 3 wild and free mommas! Well, not really wild and free- we all 3 had small children at the time! 😅

Speaking of which- this little one has literally grown up amongst the rusty, dusty, chippy, peely things that his Momma loves!

Kids and dirt have been part of the barn sale from the beginning and we don't plan on changing that anytime soon!  God gave us all these precious ones to love- and to raise... So what better place to be raised than in a barn!  And when it comes to the Barn Sale it is one filled with joy, laughter, creativity, and a lot of hard work- a place most of us want our kids!

Something else that has been with us since the beginning.... This beauty......and we plan on having her come show off for us for a Long, Long, Long time!

Why a post with all this nostalgia?  Well, at the beginning of April each year we post applications for hopeful/potential vendors!  As most of you know, you see a lot of the same faces year after year in those fabulous booths.  But occasionally, things do change.  We like to keep a fabulous mix of the best selections for you our shoppers! So, if you or someone you know has ever thought of wanting to create a perfect space in the Barn, now is the time.

Live and in Color: Vendor Applications!

As April rolls around, it can only mean one thing: applications for the 2016 Barn Sale are now LiVE!

In November (the 4th and 5th to be exact), we'll take this empty barn,

add a hand-selected group of highly talented vendors,

gather the GoOds,

and have the best Barn Sale yet!

So, mark those calendars, tell all your friends, and make sure you find your way to Gonzales, Texas, November 4th and 5th!

It feels like Christmas Card time around here

 Typically right after Thanksgiving mailboxes start filling up with Christmas cards- family and friends wishing each other a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year- updates with happenings of family members over the past year.....
 

Yes, I know it's April. Around here, April is similar to December in that our mailbox has a few sweet envelopes in it everyday!  For about a month and a half the box has applications for Barn Sale coming in - Daily! The applications are like the cards in that they tell us what vendors have been up to during the year (what other shows they attend), pictures (albeit not typically of family- but of Junky/crafty/vintage goodness) and their wishes for fall 2015. 

This would be just a small sampling of what has arrived already..... Let me tell you- What we've gotten so far is GoOd!  App time is always so challenging --- trying to make just the right selections to fill the Barn!!!!

It is just over 6 Months from the Barn Sale!  That means- 27 Fridays.... Which means- It will be here before we know it!!!!

These are the 75+ amazing vendors that make the Barn Sale so unique!!!  If so, now is the time to apply. The applications flood in every year and it is truly the hardest part of this job... selecting just the right combinations that make the Barn Sale what it is. We take time viewing photos, reading descriptions, looking at blogs, Facebook and Instagram to see who has just what the Barn needs!

Applications are live! The Barn Sale is one of The Best Vintage Markets south of I-10. Will you be with us this Nov 6th and 7th at the JB Wells Showbarn in Gonzales, Texas?

Application Time!

Ahem, ahem! Attention, please!

This is for all of you wonderful Barn Sale shoppers that have ever told us, “We just love
this place and want to have a booth at this show!” Or maybe you have just thought it. Or possibly you know just the person that needs to be a vendor at our show. Or... you have heard from other vendors that you need to be a vendor at this show.

If you fall into any of the above, NOW is your TiMe!!!!

That’s right! You read it: NOW is the TiMe!!!!

Applications are posted on our site (just click HERE) and it’s time for you to fill one out--or share it with a friend! We have previous vendors already filling the mailbox! I am loving opening to such wonderful goodness each day! (Yes, we love them and give them a few days heads up--or try to if their email doesn’t boot us out!)

Remember, we are vintage-loving, antique-admiring, recycling-relishing, handmade-honoring, and all-around unique! So if you fit any of those, we would lOvE to hear from you!!!

Make your plans NOW for November 7th and 8th, 2014, the best is yet to come! We have some fun stuff in the works!
