Summer Markets and Shows

Looking for some fun markets to shop this summer? We’ve got a great list for you to put on your calendar. Small town, big town, and in between. There are lots of great options.

Two events I’ve been wanting to attend for a long time now are coming up and I’m so happy to say they are in PEN on my calendar and they’re going to happen!

First Monday, and the Blanco Lavender Festival.

First up is this weekend: First Monday shopping in Canton! The kids are going to have a  “Daddy Weekend” and I’m joining a girlfriend for a great getaway. On my list to see in Canton are Marigold Trading Company and LaurieAnna's Vintage Home. Who else should I see?

Second is the Blanco Lavender Festival and Lavender Market, June 8-10, 2012. I LOVE lavender and have missed this festival for several years now. This will be my first time, and I’m thrilled to visit the farms and see all the lavender products! (I’ll be looking for unique new Barn Sale Vendors, too!)
Friday Noon to 6 PM / Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM / Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM
A festival-goer's favorite, this popular market features all four lavender farms with booths selling their own lavender products and plants. Over 100 other vendors from all over Texas showcase arts, crafts, and lavender-related wares. I cannot wait! It will be HOT, but totally wonderful.

Here are some other upcoming events we thought you might be interested in visiting throughout the summer. There are links so you can get more information if you want it.
