Rusted Gingham is once again excited to be hosting the 13th annual Barn Sale at JB Wells Park in Gonzales, Texas. Make plans to be in the barn Friday, November 6th, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, and Saturday, November 7th, 9:00am to 4:00pm.
This annual gathering of talented artists is a great community event and a time to let Gonzales shine! Vendors from across the state will be setting up to show and sell their vintage, antique, unique, handmade, upcycled and otherwise-made goods. Live music by Ain’t No Grave and Sydney Winton will fill the air Friday night and again Saturday—prior to and after Weldon Henson, who will be taking the mic Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
Several food options are available, ranging from tamales and chili by the local Gonzales County A&M Club, the infamous Royer’s Pie Haven’s savory and sweet pies, chicken salad, soups, brownies, cookies, bars, snack mixes, and more. Various drink options to warm you up or cool you down will be available as well.
Many shoppers come with Christmas list in-hand, as the variety in the barn has something for just about everyone! Rusted Gingham is encouraging everyone to shop small and support families involved in small businesses. Maybe don’t spend so much at big box stores or online shopping from out of the country. The small Mom and Pop shops are the ones supporting our local organizations, scholarships, youth sports leagues, stock show sales—the list goes on and on. Artisans such as the ones under the barn survive by people coming to shop at markets like the Barn Sale.
With this year having been a challenge for artisans, musicians, and small businesses, Rusted Gingham hopes you come enjoy the offerings under the barn!
Admission for the Barn Sale is $5 for anyone 13 and up; cute kids under 12 are free. Double-day admission bands can be purchased for $8. Parking is free. Bring your big rig—you’re going to need it for all your wares!
Please note that sometimes when you are out shopping there are things that can be caught rather than bought, so the Gonzales Mayor encourages face coverings; people are responsible for their own health and safety. Use common sense before getting out, as is always wise. Of course, if you feel ill, please don’t come to the barn. Dogs are not permitted, as they are a safety concern for all ages. Rusted Gingham wants shoppers and vendors to enjoy their time under the barn.
We look forward to seeing you at the show!
