4th Vendor Roll Out.....

We have been keeping pace around here- normal daily duties, school, work and watering- it is dry.... we need rain!  Once those things are done we've been working on barn sale projects!  I've spoken to several vendors and they are doing the same.  Some are at shows this weekend or next and restocking for the Barn Sale intermittently!

We have a whole 'nother set of vendors to introduce you to....  Some 'newbies' and several that have been with us before!

One of our new couples sent us printed photos- and the scanner isn't working..... But I can tell you that this couple from Shiner, Texas (just down Hwy 90 from Gonzales) is excited to come to the Barn! Creations by Howard and Judy have sold their 'wares' at shows from Hallettsville to Goliad, Schulenburg, Cuero, Yorktown and Yoakum. (Spell check only approves of Yorktown- Guess it doesn't like small towns!)  They will bring quite an assortment of handmade - welcome to the Barn!

Back this year is Junk'n Treasure- they had quite the time getting to the Barn last year (as in U-Haul breaking down)- but once they were here they had a blast!  Karen is planning on having some beautiful upcycled window panes- and a lot of painted goodies! She was all smiles once she was set up and selling---

Next up is a crowd favorite for miles around....... Texas Trash & Treasurers creators Richard and Linda will be bringing their bright, hand cut, hand painted home, garden and wherever you want it metal decor!  Not only will they have their unique style- they will also have their smiles!!!

Good news- if any of you are coming from afar- most of this is pretty flat and can fit in a suitcase! These two are making their 3rd appearance with us- however they are not new to shows- 20+ years doing this!!!  Not only that - but coming up with new stuff every year!  We are delighted to have them back in the barn!

We've found over the years several Husband/wife duos.... this is another one!  Rob & Jennifer of Retro Repurposed will be bringing their repurposed and updated furniture and household GoOds- if you keep up with us they were the ones last year that told me they turn 'crappy into happy' and they sure do!

We are glad to have these two back- they have brought a very unique style to the barn!

Annette joins us next from Round Rock with her handmade primitives called Sew Blessed which are old and new items with a primitive look! We are anxious to see what all she brings to the barn- we have enjoyed her pictures! Below are some recent fall pillows getting ready to be stuffed!

Seeing the above makes me realize I've not bought my annual bag of Candy Corn- eeeek!  I normally snack on that and a glass of milk as I do these posts.... guess I will add it to my grocery list this week!  I know Annette burns the midnight oil in between her shows- keeping up with her hoot owls here....  She will have quite a bit of seasonal- fall and Christmas- so be ready!!

Another new vendor for this year is Junk Junkie LLC from Austin. We were able to meet her in Warrenton a few weeks ago- all of her cool painted furniture had sold and she was down to her unique clothes and some caps!  We are looking forward to her mix of furniture, frames, vintage items and clothing!

We do appreciate a sense of humor- not tacky though-and this kitchen towel made part of us laugh out loud!  I personally know a few of our shoppers that would really get a kick out of this dish towel- and would buy it for friends- I also know those said friends would buy one for the first friend.  So ladies (you know who you are) just buy this for yourself- and tell your girlfriend to get her own as well. Then you can just buy each other a favorite bottle of wine! As I'm saying all this- not sure if she will have any of these left for Barn Sale--- hint hint Miss Cathy!

Up next is the talented Liz of Junktion Alley who creates treasurers for today with pieces of the past!  Sounds like our kind of lady! Liz was so sweet- she told us she felt like she hit the lottery when she got accepted to the show!  We cannot wait to have her upbeat, friendly, creative soul in the Barn!

Liz sent a little pendant to me to wear- and have I- it says 'gypsy soul' and it is true.  I do love to get out and wander- that is the gypsy in me- and yet I love to come home- the soul part.... At least to my temporary home- my forever home is much better than anything I can imagine!!  Liz- we look forward to your smiles in the barn!

Talking of Gypsy's- our last vendor to roll out for this week is The Gypsy Coture from Bulverde or so she says... However I think she is from wherever the roads take or bring her!  She tells us she was the first mobile boutique in Texas- that she knows of! Gypsy Coture will bring a Bohemian look with a vintage style- a little more clothing and accessories all in the beauty of her 1947 Spartan trailer!

Super cute- Gypsy Coture tells us they try to carry clothing and accessories that you won't see everywhere else- we tend to agree which is why they were selected to be in the barn!

Well that is a wrap for this Vendor Roll Out..... I am pretty sure that based solely on what we've shown you so far there is such a neat variety coming to the barn- Vintage, Antique, Unique, Handmade, Remade and other wise made goods!  We are so excited for this 8th Annual Barn Sale!  Fri Nov 6th, 4pm-8pm and Saturday the 7th 9am-4pm.  Hope to see you at the Barn!

Treats!
Suzanne
